Car tires have to carry heavy duties in which it has to bear the weight of the car that presses, runs, turns, and brakes through a variety of roads Including receiving contacting the hot and humid temperatures in Laos. Tires are the important parts of a car, the crucial part of bringing you to the destination of your choice, this article will introduce you to tips in tires care for long-lasting tires and staying safe while driving.

1. Check tire pressure and condition regularly

Check the tire pressure regularly, especially when the tire temperature is normal, if it’s driven, it will cause the tire pressure to expand from the heat generated when driving. When checking the tire pressure while it is still hot, the measure will be unstable, so check and inflate the tire when the temperature is not too high or check the tire pressure before driving. If the tire pressure is too low, drive at a slower speed and rush to the nearest auto repair shop to inflate immediately.

The total distance to change the tire is 40,000 km or depending on the environment and factors in using the car when you see that the tire is wearing out, please change the tire immediately.

2. Check the condition of the tread and sidewall

If you see that the sidewall is cracking or swollen, stop using that tire. A damaged tire is at risk to explode when driving at high speed, with lower pressure and leakage of the air. When accelerating or turning, it will cause the sidewall to deform, causing the tire to have a high temperature and eventually explode.

3.  Don’t inflate too little or too much

If you inflate too much or higher the standard, it will make the ride harder and the tires will deteriorate too quickly. Too little inflation can cause serious damage to the tires and can be a major cause of an explosion when driving fast, as well as lesser the duration of the tire, decaying the tread, and consuming more fuel than usual.

4. Check the tread depth

Tread depth is a variant of the grip, it becomes crucial when driving on the wet road. If the tread is flat, it’ll be dangerous to drive since it can’t extrude the water, which will be at risk of slipping off the rad or unable to brake when driving in the rain. Change the tire when the tread depth is less than 3 millimeters or have a total distance of 40,000 kilometers. Be careful when driving on a rocky road to cause less damage to the wheel and tire, if driving at high speed on an uneven road can cause major damage to the structure of the tire.

Checking the condition of tires is important in order to extend their duration. Keep these tips in mind and try to avoid exposing the tires to heat, sunlight, wind, and rain. Check and inflate your tires before driving for safe driving.
