It might just be good news for the Apple fans who were disappointed by the limited color selection of the iPhone X?

A filing from Apple at the FCC (the Federal Communications Commission) reveals photos of a golden iPhone X, following the end of the 6 months confidentiality period of the filed documents. The golden iPhone is built with a glass back-plate featuring the same gold tone as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus released in September.

Following last year’s iPhone presentation event, it was rumored that Apple was planning a golden version of the iPhone X - but that color was never shown on stage, while Apple launched just two color choices: space gray and white/silver. It is presumed that company from Cupertino faced unexpected manufacturing obstacles with the gold version which prevented the launch of this glamorous color last September.

For those who cannot wait to get their hands on a golden iPhone X, custom-made versions can be purchased at a hefty price on Internet (beware that you might loose wireless charging for this trade). Otherwise, as rumors claim that Apple is now working on a gold version of the iPhone X’s successor, it might be wiser to wait to finally see it launched.
